Invitando al Bautismo

Hola hola,

Well, we had a great week here! Wednesday wsa a particularly awesome day, despite the fact that it was raining. First off we met up with a young man named Miroban that has been attending church for the last month with his girlfriend. Originally, his girlfriend invited him to go to seminary and then he decided to start going to church also. We had our first lession with him on wednesday and he really enjoys being at the Church and wants to learn more. And he accepted the goal to be baptised on June 10th! That is next Saturday! So we really have a lot of work to do with him if he will be baptised on that day, but I did the baptismal invitation and that date was clear in my mind. I really hope that we can teach him all the lessons and that he can recognize his testimony and make the necessary changes. He is a great kid and really loves going to church. We originally planned to visit him at 6 pm and I called to confirm, but he said "Oh, well I dont know if I can because I have to go to seminary at 6:30 pm." I dont think I have ever had an investigator tell me that it would be hard to meet with us because he had seminary hahaha. But we met up with him a bit earlier and were able to have a great lession.

Also on Wednesday we started teaching another investigator that the sister missionaries passed to us, Wilnor. He is from Haiti and has 7 months here in Chile. He has also gone to Church several times already, and really wants to learn more. He accepted the goal to be baptised on June 24th! He really wants to, but is a bit woried about his abilities to speak spanish. He understands a lot, but is very timid and doesnt like to talk much. I really understand him though, because that is exactly how I was when I came to Chile. So we are going to try to help him with his spanish and to learn the gospel. He lives on a dirt road, and because of the rain, I totally slipped and got my pants all dirty. So I just threw them away, because I was going to in two more weeks anyway haha.

Also this week we had two lessons at a members home where they invited their friends to attend and listen to our message. That was super awesome, and way easier than contacting in the streets. Members and missionaries working together is the key to this work.

So yeah it has been a great week. Pray for Miroban and Wilnor to help them towards those dates. I have just two weeks left and I am trying to stay focused and work hard.
